Add a Discount Coupon

One of LeadWire’s core value propositions is our customer retention tools. One way we’ve developed to allow you to incentivize your customer’s engagement with your brand is discount coupons. With LeadWire you can create discount coupons for your audiences and it will generate a unique QR code for each contact. To create a new coupon, from your audience navigate to Manage Coupons, and in the coupons view click on Create Coupon.

Create a Coupon #

To create a new coupon you will need add its details in the Create Coupon pop-up. there you can add its name, that will be an internal identifier and not visible to contacts. Then you can add its title, description, logo URL that will be shown on top of the QR-Code and the coupon expiration date, and whether is an Active coupon.

Once you create a coupon for an audience each existing contact will be assigned a unique QR-code coupon you can send in an SMS Campaign. Moreover, for any new contact added to the audience from any of the opt-in sources LeadWire will create a new QR-code coupon as well. You can automatically reply with QR-Codes coupons to organically generated leads, the following section explains it in detail

Add Discount Coupons to Auto-Reply Messages #

One potential use case to incentivize contact subscription to your audience may be to offer a discount coupon in exchange for their subscription. That way you can reach them with future campaigns to that audience. If you want to send organically generated contacts with a discount QR-Code, navigate to the Edit menu in the Manage Audience drop-down. There you can check the Include a Coupon in auto-reply check box, in the emerging dropdown you can choose the coupon you want to send automatically once a contact subscribes from any of the opt-in options.

Please Note: If the coupon expires or is deactivated, the QR-code coupon will not be sent to subscribing customers.

QR-Code Coupons #

When you contacts receive their unique coupon by SMS, they will receive a link that will open a QR-Code they can use to redeem the coupon. Image below. Check out how you can redeem your customers discount coupons with LeadWire on the next section.

Redeem Discount Coupons #

You can redeem your customer’s discount coupons from our Coupons Portal, you can find it in the left side-menu from anywhere in LeadWire. The Coupons Portal provides 2 ways in which you can redeem coupons

Scan the QR-Code
First you can scan the QR-Code and if it is a valid (non-expired/active) coupon you will see the success page. To scan the code you can do it from any mobile device (it will ask you to log in if you’re not) or any QR-Code scanner connected to a computer that has access to LeadWire.

Type in the Coupon code
Each QR-Code has its own code (displayed right below the QR-Code.
